- You can only book an autonomous test ride with our MOIAs if you are enabled as a tester after you joined our waiting list
- The booking process is similar to our regular service. However, there are a few little things you have to keep in mind, which we explain in detail below
- Open the MOIA app and log in with your details
- By default, you will be taken to the page where you can enter your starting point
- In addition to the regular service area, as a tester you will always be shown another area on the map. The area marked in blue is the test area for autonomous driving
- You can book autonomous test rides within this area
-
Enter your address for your starting point and your destination usual
-
To book an autonomous test ride, your starting point and destination must be in the blue marked area
-
You will then be taken to the screen where you can enter the number of passengers
-
IMPORTANT:
-
You can only book an autonomous ride for yourself and you must be at least 18 years old
-
We are not able to offer barrier-free rides autonomously
- Prebookings are not possible
-
As soon as you enter more than one person in the number of passengers, you will not be offered an autonomous ride in the subsequent booking step. This also applies if you also book children and child seats or if you state that you need a wheelchair. The autonomous test area disappears if not all conditions for an autonomous journey are fulfilled
-
-
If the booking details regarding the number of people and the service area are correct and an autonomous MOIA is available, you will be given the opportunity to book a free autonomous ride when selecting the ride offers, in addition to the classic rides or express bookings
-
Please be patient if you don't get an autonomous vehicle. As only a small number of autonomous MOIAs are in use at the beginning, we may not be able to offer you a ride at times of high demand. In this case, please try again at a later date
-
Autonomous rides are offered for €0.00 with the words “Autonomous”
- Tap on the autonomous offer
- The system then searches for a matching vehicle
- If you are assigned an autonomous MOIA, you will receive information about the pick-up location and time in the app
- Please arrive at the planned pick-up point in good time. You can see exactly where your stop is in the app as usual
- Your autonomous MOIA will appear, and you can authenticate yourself on the vehicle
- We have summarized how this works and what you need to consider when boarding in this help center article
