- For our autonomous service, we’ve set up a dedicated fleet control center
- A trained team monitors our autonomous MOIA fleet, supports every ride, and can help the safety drivers at any time
What does the fleet control center monitor?
- At every departure and arrival at a stop, the fleet control center performs a cabin safety check. This checks that boarding and exiting are done correctly, such as whether everyone is seated and buckled up, the doors are secure, and belongings are stowed safely
- For this check, the vehicle is briefly connected to the fleet control center via in-car cameras, so the team can see the key areas inside the cabin
- The fleet control center only approves arrival or departure once all safety conditions are met, and the vehicle then continues autonomously
- During the ride, the fleet control center also monitors key vehicle data in real time, including:
- Location and route
- Current speed
- Seat belt status
- In-car temperature
- Battery level
- Technical status and more
In urgent situations, you can reach the fleet control center via the support button
- For urgent questions or immediate support, use the support button above your seat. You’ll recognize it by the phone icon
- Don’t be surprised if the fleet control center contacts you or the safety drivers during your ride. You’ll hear a voice through the speaker
- Please only use the support button when you need it. Repeated unnecessary use may lead to exclusion from the test phase
In an emergency, the SOS/Stop button connects you to the fleet control center
- Only when all conditions for a safe journey are ensured, the fleet control center will approve the arrival and departure and the vehicle continues to drive autonomously
- If you press it, for example in a medical emergency, the vehicle will immediately connect you with the fleet control center, who will take care of your request right away
- Please only use the SOS/Stop button in a real emergency. Misuse may lead to exclusion from the test phase
Got questions or feedback about the autonomous test phase?
- Do you have a question about the autonomous testing phase? You'll find all the important answers in the Help section
- If you can't find the answer to your question in the Help section or would like to contact us, you can submit your inquiry to MOIA Customer Service using the contact form
- We collect feedback on each test ride directly in the MOIA app after your trip
- With your help, we keep improving, shaping the future of autonomous mobility
